My new set of tire & wheel (15 x 8 rims, 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires) will be installed in the middle of next week. The shop included the "SPACER" on the order. What is the spacer? Do I need it? What is the advantages and the disadvantages?

Thanks in advance for all the info..

the spacer goes between your rim and rotor probally to give the bigger tire more clearance for the turning radius I dunno?
