Hey wheres the best place to buy a transmission cooler?? Also superchargers are over-rated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Turbochargers are less expensive and produce more power cause they use the exhaust to power them....sorry just had to add that in.

Any auto parts store should have a transmission cooler. They're not vehicle specific so any one should work.

And why are you so down on superchargers? They're not overrated, they're an excellent way to add alot of power. I don't disagree that turbochargers are better, but they're not widely available for the T-bird and I don't know of any turbocharger kits for a T-bird that are less expensive than supercharger kits. If you do, let me know.

Kenny

Should be able to go to any parts store and get a transmission cooler. I've got a 98 SOHC RWD with tow prep. I jumped the gun and was looking for a trans mission cooler before I checked. There are a bunch of them out there. I'd recommend a stacked unit (Plate Fin Oil Coolers) like this type: http://store.racerwheel.org/racerwheel/b32-70266.html I did a google search on plate stacked oil cooler. I believe your transmission has a cooler intergrated into the radiator. you'd cut into the return line then add the cooler. The transmission has a temp switch from what I understand that doesn't allow flow to the cooler till its 150 degrees. Bob

hey, i used the B&M cooler, seems to work well. Takes a while for the tranny to warm up during the winter, but it runs at about 120 now at 32degreesF ambient. and 145 under medium hard use. I haven't had the temp gage on there long enough to tell you more. hope this helps dave
