The C6 has not historically been a popular mod
for early Broncos. It's been done, but I've heard
it's a major PITA and requires costly custom fab
brackets, linkages, etc.<br><br>A properly built truck C4
should have no problems handling the output of a 351.
Also, since C4's came stock in Broncos it should be
fairly easy to mate up the t-case, output shaft, clutch,
etc. You didn't mention the type of 351 you were
considering. I'd advise against the 351C (Cleveland) since
it's typically best for high end horsepower rather
than low end torque. The 351W (Windsor) is typically
stronger at the low end, cheaper to build, and fits better
too.<br><br>Or just drop all that silly auto stuff and put in an
ultra low NP435 4 speed! :~) That's what I
