Does anyone know of any automatic transmission problems with the 2001 ZX3? When my car shifts into overdrive it begins to shutter forward and back just slightly. It only shutters while I'm pressing the gas. So I know its not wheel balancing. I've only had the car for about seven months; it has around 12,ooo miles on it, so it should still be covered by the warranty, but I just hate dealing with dealership people!! By shuttering forward and back, do you mean it feels like speeds and slows and speeds and slows all in one second. Mine does the same thing and I have only 4500 miles. You think its something to do with the transmission? I'd take it in but I'm afraid they'll keep it for days and I'll be stuck without a car.

I ended up taking the car into the dealership. It was in and out in less than a day! The guy there told me it was a faulty pressure feedback sensor. I got it repaired, and it ran fine, but a week later it got bad again. It shutters, sticks in 2nd gear, the engine runs rough, and when it shifts the whole car jerks forward and back! Looks like I'm going back to the dealer.
