I HAVE A 1994 BRONCO WITH A 5.8L, FOUR<br>SPEED AUTO, WITH MANUAL LOCKING HUBS.<br>THE TRANSFER CASE KEEPS POPPING OUT OF<br>TWO HIGH- AND IT SOUNDS LIKE GRINDING<br>GEARS. I HAVE TO SHIFT TO NEUTRAL AND SOMETIMES TURN OFF THE ENGINE TO <br>RE-ENGAGE TO TWO HIGH IT ALSO WILL POP<br>OUT OF FOUR-HIGH. FOUR-LOW SEEMS TO WORK<br>FINE

Your Tcase needs a rebuild. Sounds like your shift forks and synchro gears are worn out. Ever think about calling a tranny shop about that? I'd check on the cost for the rebuild too.....it MAY be cheaper to get another one out of a junkyard.<br><br>BTW, lose the caps....no need to be cyber-yelling ;)
