in my opinion, the best way to check your trans
mounts is to jack up the car, put a set of jack stands
under it, then using a 2x4 about 12" jack up the rear
section of the tranny. when i say jack up the tranny I
mean just put tension on the bushing and look for
cracks. if cracks are found, jack up a LITTLE more to see
if the mount is split. if you see light in the
crack, its broke. to replace remove the 2 bolts(I
believe) under the cross member and the 2 in the tranny
housing and it should slide out. to reinstall raise the
trans just enough to slide the mount in. you mave have
to remove the cross member but I doubt it. hope that
