Question for the group. I have a 1999 Windstar. Let me start out by saying that I've performed all the work necessary in the TSB (the one with the isloator bolts, gaskets, valve cover, fuel pressure vacuum hose, etc.). The CE light no longer comes on (good thing) but it's not running any better. Symptons are hesitation during acceleration. I've also replaced all O2 sensors, fuel filter, plugs, wires, etc. Any thoughts from the group? Thanks...

Since most of us don't have access to the TSB, you will need to elaborate more. I had a problem with my 96 Windstar, the CE light would come on while cruising at 37 mph for several minutes, but be fine all the rest of the time. I talked to a Ford service manager and he told me to suspect the coil pack (114k miles). I changed to coil pack, and it did look a little bad, however it did not change the problem. Turned out to be a bad sensor, just can't remember the name right now. Had two vacuum lines on it, and they were corroded underneath and would leak air. Once I remember the name of the sensor I will post it. Chuck

Sounds like the DPFE sensor - already replace that too. I don't recall which TSB it was - it's a regular issue with the 99. The dealer had a made-up parts list and knew exactly what I needed when I went in. The CE light did however come on again - it gives me another code now - P0401 - something about bad EGR flow.
