No, i never beat a mustang. I just spent most of my money on the looks of my car so far. but i also just bought a header, cat, muffler, intake, plugs and wires. I was looking for a few upgrades that will really help. I heard that Blake was porting his heads, ect. I was just wondering if you guys could answer a few questions for me? How much did it cost for your head work? Are high compression pistons a good upgrade? Im also about to order a camshaft and chip. Do you know of any other good upgrades? Thanks

i know of alot of upgrades.  you want to meter your engines vitals? they make pillar pods for your car to mount the gauges...heres the link: Probe ...you can get performance axles at driveshaftshop.com, you can getcatback on nopi.com, you can get clutch kits from nopi.com, (go to nopi.com and click the little red square at the top left that says e-cat) you can get injectors, the under-drive crank pulley and a whole other assortment of things there.  hope this helps you out.  take care...

Ok Jeremy yes I did have my head ground and added some high compression pistons but you have to make sure that your engine will hold the load without just blowing a nice big hole in you head gasket did that twice before I learned I also learned that a razor tip cam will work the best for speed it has the same type of lobe design but it comes with a few mods first of all were the normal cams are rounded theses flat surfaced letting the valves be open for a longer period of time which lets your engine suck in more air and put out more exhaust it helps a lot besides the exhaust sounds way cooler and when I have saved up enough money to throw dual pipes on it with a set of glass packs it will sound really wicked this alone with a set of performance injectors and a cai with ram air should give you enough power to take a stang in top end but if your looking to all out just beat the piss out of him then look at regearing the tranny helped out my probe a lot but I use it mainly for the track were it kicks ass and I don't have to worry about the cops pulling me over for a set of wind sheild wiper led's hahaha later Blake >

How can i tell if my engine will be able to handle high compression pistons? And ive never heard of a razor tip camshaft. Do you order it or is it a ground camshaft. Ive been thinking about putting a ram air on my car, but i didnt want to force too much air to the engine. I always hear about people blowing up their engine that way. Blake, do you have any pictures of your car?? Id really like to see it, and id like to see some pictures of Jeremy's too (spool) if you dont mind. thanks j

well "j", i really dont have any of my car because im selling it...would be a good project car if you're interested in a month and a half or so it'll be down to about 1800 bucks...let me know if youre interested....its a 93 se 5 speed, got a problem idling, might be the alternator and i know the battery is shor...it needs front tires and inspected...think the struts could be replaced  to.  like i said, good project car.  its got a dent in the drivers side 1/4 panel which i can get fixed for 250 bucks ( check that out normally its around 1700)...the book value is 3100,...dont quote me here but i think its got like 113K miles.  the interior is in pretty good condition...you'll need a head unit if you want music, i sold the aftermarket deck i had in it.  it doesnt have rear speakers...but i have a pair of bazooka 5x7's in perfect condition i can throw in for a lil more, id like to put them in my talon as soon as i get it, but ill sell em if u want em.  the car DOES have new axles, new down pipe, front brakes, the interior in tricked out in blue, its got a short shifter (home-made, lol) and a dynomax muffler with a 3" tip...ill sell it for 1800 with the dent or 2050, with 250 upfront and the 1/4 panel will be fixed.  let me know what you wanna do or if you're interested or anything...and as far as putting too much air into your car with a ram air intake...dont worry...that cant happen with natural aspiration...the computer will add more fuel to what a ram air will put in.....you're not gonna blow anything up, except for some of the cars ur havin trouble beating right now...lol.  take it easy
