hopefully someone can help with whats involved. i know the egr valve is different and i don't know where the air temp sensor ends up. the plastic manifold does not have a spot for it like the aluminum one. if any of you have done this and know the things to watch out for please let us know, and was the switch worth the work ie. performance gains etc.?

What exactly are you aiming for with the switch? If it's just to change from a plastic intake to the alum, then I know a guy who makes them in his garage....

We were told that the hot ticket was to switch from the aluminum to the plastic because if flowed better. we have since flowed both and there was a wopping 4cfm difference. the plastic manifold was also supposed to act as a insulator and keep the intake charge cooler ??????. Can you put us in touch with the person that is making manifolds, we would love to use his if they are ready to go. thanks for the help and look forward to hearing back. ps. we do not get on line regularly so please bear with us if it takes a couple of days to respond. thanks
