Well, I finally did some upgrades in the past week or so. New Panasonic MP3 Deck, new Nokian WR tires, and changed out my foglights to the GE 886's. More Boom, better ride and more light. Now, for those that have upgraded their foglights to the 886 bulb. The lights are much brighter then the oem bulbs, should I be worried about the bulb harness or the plastic housing due the heat being generated? Also, I am going to be towing a uhaul this weekend. Any tips or things I should be wary of. I have not towed any thing in the Escape yet. Regards. Chris

You shouldn't have to worry about your wiring with the upgrade to the GE bulb. I have had no problems with mine. The Escape should do fine with the Uhaul. If you don't tow too much the biggest concern would be if you are in a parking lot type situation, make sure you don't turn too tight. The uhaul shouldn't be too bad for that though. Have a good weekend. How does the new MP3 player sound? Gary

The new deck is a big improvement. Drove to Peace River this weekend and got to try out all the extras. 154 songs on one cd. How can one go wrong. The only down side is how bright the display is at night. A little over powering. Had no major problems with the Uhaul besides mileage. 17mpg hauling it up the crazy hills in Peace country. 26.5 mpg coming back without it. But the big surprise was the new tires I put on the day before. A much smoother ride and hardly any tire noise on some of the older asphalt. Now if i could only get rid of the wind noise. :) Later
