I REMEMBER READING SOMETHING ABOUT THE VENOM A WHILE BACK. FROM WHAT I REMEMBER, IT WAS A MODULE THAT CONNECTS BETWEEN THE MAF SENSOR AND THE COMPUTER MODIFYING THE SIGNAL. FOR EXAMPLE, IT MIGHT TELL THE COMPUTER THAT THERE WAS MORE AIR COMING IN THAN THERE REALLY WAS IN ORDER TO BUMP UP THE AMOUNT OF FUEL GOING INTO THE ENGINE. THEY HAVE A WEB SITE, BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHERE IT WAS. DJM P.S. I wasn't yelling, I just forgot to turn off the caps key. On Wed, 6 Oct 1999 19:40:17 -0700 "Lino Sacman" <

i checked out the stuff they have for the 93GT 2.5L and its pretty cool... the venom 400 looks pretty good, i would personally get the other items listed for the probe before going with that, but oh well... one wierd thing is, they have a new mass airflow sensor for a 93 MX6 but they say they dont have one for my car??? wierd... are the setups for those different from the probe to mx6???

THE VENOM 400 IS A EXTERNAL (CHIP) THAT PLUGS INTO YOUR COMPUTER EXPECT ABOUT A 5-15% HP INCREASE NOTHING MORE. IF YOU WANT MORE POWER, GO WITH THE INJECTORS AND FUEL PUMP THAT THEY OFFER. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE FORD AND THE MAZDA MASS AIR METERS IS THAT ONE OR THE OTHER(FORD OR MAZDA) MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS FOR FUEL AND AIR DELIVERY. SUCH AS SAY THE MAZDA NEEDS MORE AIR TO SEND OUT THE SAME AMOUNT OF POWER DUE TO WHAT EVER, THE MAZDA MAS MAY BE LARGER...GET IT? ITS A WEIRD THING BUT I WAS AT NOPI AND VENOM SAID THAT THE MAS WON'T WORK TOO WELL OR AT ALL IN THE PROBE.. TRY WHAT I DID.. FIND A MUSTANG MAS AND INTALL IT..YOU MAY HAVE TO MODIFY IT A LITTLE BUT IT WILL PLUG RIGHT IN.. RESULTS WERE FAIR..THE GOOD THING ABOUT THE VENOM 400.. YOU CAN TURN IT OF WHENEVER YOU WANT.(your gas will go to shit) RYAN GARY C/o LV MOTORSPORTS 93 PSE email@ LVMOTORSPORTS99@... >

with the injectors, and the fuel pump, youll probably get around 30-45(max) horsepower out of it... I dont have them, and the details of them on the web page are rather brief, i would suggest calling venom for more information...

I would certainly like a good explaination on how you gain any performance increase from simply changing the pump and injectors? The pump simply allows for greater fuel flow rates, which is needed when you begin flowing more fuel. As for the injectors, you need air and an intake or exhaust isn't going to cut it. I am sorry, but you are having wet dreams if you think you are going to gain 30-45HP from a pump and injectors. Any power for that matter. Bryan Pendleton http://probenet.tripod.com >

get off my ass dildo, i left out the chip... and im sorry, but increasing te size of your injectors, puting ANYTHING better than a stock fuel pump, and a computer WILL add horsepower... and lookcarefully.. it says "MAX" meaning YOU WONT GET SHIT.... so fuck off...

I meant no disrespect in my message, and I apoligize if my sarcasm (spelling?) came across harshly. Now I must be a list manager: This kind of trash will not be tolerated on this list. If I hear anymore talk like that, whether it is directed at me or anyone else, I will have you removed from the list. So take this as your warning. Thank you, Bryan Pendleton http://probenet.tripod.com >

Listen man, why dont you get off the fucking list. You have done nothing but start shit here. Bryan P is one of the most knowledgable people on this list about our cars and you don't just go off and start insulting him left and right. I have heard you do nothing but complain about damn probes and insult people. If your going to be negative than we dont want you here. Dan

I have to agree with Dan... This list is to provide a place for us probe owners to exchange info and to help each other. There is no-one here that wants to hear someone criticize there car. I take great pride in the work and time I've put into my probe. And I bet that if you weren't hiding behind a keyboard it would be a different story. You're the type of guy I love to chew up at the stoplights. Stay off the list! To everyone else, I apologize. Justin (JSpeed)

Hey all, I've got to add my 2 cents now. My car was totalled after two years of hard work and persistence. I have been on the list for a year nw and have gained and shared knowledge with all. I went out and bought a 93 BASE ATX after my 5-Speed PSE was totaled. If anyone wants to go down the track with me, let's go. I didn't own this car because it's fast(it will be though), and I didn't buy it because of it's looks(that helped though), I bought it because it is the most awesome car I have ever owned. I've had muscle cars(so what), but my probe was an extension of me, and I think others would stand behind me on that. This list is made up of people who love their cars and want to help and get help. So, in conclusion. LONG LIVE THE 2.0L 4-CYLINDER PROBE!!!!!!! Steve

Well I probably don't belong here, but I love ya'll =) Been reading your list for quite a while now, and I figured I'd speak out also. I don't have a probe actually, but I have yer brutha =) A '96 MX-6 (da v6 one) I know exactly what you're talking about on this one... I've had close to a dozen cars, (including a Dodge stealth Twin Turbo('94), an MR2 Turbo('93) and an Eagle Talon (TSI AWD) and I've never driven a car that feels like this. It's the perfect size, has perfect handling for me, and some of the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in =) I don't think anybody can dis our cars in any way... okay so we're not the fastest, the showiest, the most "stickered" ;-) but if you like something, you should also stick with it, and screw what anybody tells you. So whoever that lamer was (charles?) you need to shut the hell up and stop ruining stuff. This is how lists die. Keep up the good list though =) *receedes into shadows* =) Brian C.
