Hi
I am a newly owner of 2007 Ford Escape 3.0L V6 model, and I have problems with registration process. The VIN plate on the windshield is not enough, the clerk wants to see it stamped on the body. I cannot find it :-(, do you know where it is? or maybe the VIN is only on that plate?
Thanks for any help.

Vin is on a plate in drivers side door, should also be on a plate in the engine compartment
