Hey, Not to say that you lied or anything but, the VR4 is a twin turbo. Either that or you must have your 4 banger probe, quite modified because the regular 3000GT will just kill me and I think it will still kill semi modified probes. Maybe I'm wrong about the speed of the car? Oh-well, have fun racing it! Chas

i don't know what you raced but it wasn't a VR4. i have a 3000GT non turbo and a probe, and the 3000 will kill it anytime.

I just bought a 95PGT... traded in my 93Base model... I still love probes, but it was hard for me to work w/ the 4cyl... i was plannin a turbo upgrade, but i wanted to start w/ a good base, so the 6 is what i got... i've been in plenty of stoplight races, including a 3000GT VR4... and lemme tell you, all I saw were tailights after about 3rd gear, when his turbo spooled, i mean Twin Turbo... those things are awesome... but a turbo on a PGT will give that VR4 a run for his 20,000 or so they spend on those things... Glen w/ my new 95PGT & some stuff...

Actually, a friend of mine (he is a surgeon on the west coast) SOLD his Porsche 930 slope-nose that was prepared by Louis Ruf and bought a VR-4. He swears by it. Granted his VR-4 is very heavily modified. Hell, an old Gallant VR-4 will kill just about any nonturbo production car on the road, at least the ones with < 8 cylendars... I am not saying anyone is fibbing, but it just seems so unlikley. Did they make slushbox (automatic) VR-4's? Just because someone can afford a "real" sportscar dosent mean they know how to drive, either :).... there are alot of factors here, but it was probably the case of a poor driver... -johnny PS: I have a hankering to buy a Mazda 323 GTX (the turbo/awd one) anyone know what the approx price would be? I havent seen any for sale on the net...
