Does anyone have a list of easy/functional/popular mods that they can do themselves?

Rip out the resonator, it just makes the car quiet as far as I can see- note, I don't know how else this can affect the car, someone in another yahooo focus forum has a description of how to do this and what it requires.<br><br>Add a DIY air dam under the bumper to force air into teh engine at higher speeds, this should increase HP a tiny bit<br><br>get A K&N filter Replacement, or better yet, upgrade ot a conical shaped filter.<br><br>get the APC altezza's that still are lurking around unseen by us focus guys :)<br><br>get new tires! if you don't have to deal with snow just get some performance tires that can deal in rain. My car came with RS-A's, which are intended for reasonable snow traction, if you don't have snow you would be betteroff with something else.<br><br>bet a B&M short shifter, it's really spiffy, and goes for abotu $150 or so, it's all stainless steel, and very fly.<br><br>unseat that STUPID shift light, just open up your instrument panel and rip it off, and leave it dangling on some part of the panel that isn't see through.<br><br>I don't care what every one else says, go get some blueish light, they make the car look bad ass, and I'm convinced they help vision (my high beams are SO nasty)<br><br>thats it for now, i'm sure there will be more things people can think of :)<br><br>love evan,
