I just got back from the easter jeep safari out in moab i talked to a few guys about carbs. a couple suggest that the best carb on the EB is the org. motorcraft 2100 saying that it seems to do well by not flooding. i am runing a holley 2bbl. that just floods on just about every rock i hit so the question is what are you guys running and what do you all think is the best? thx Cj

I got a new Holley Truck Avenger, works great even at extreme angles. They claim it will maintain idle at 45 degrees... Seems to be a valid claim so far. This is the closest I've came to running like a F/I setup. It's a little pricey -$380 from Summit- But I think it's worth it... Edelbrock also makes a carb setup for off road now, I didn't really look into it though... Jim B.

I bought a new Bronco back in '67 with a 289ci and 2bbl carb. The carb was a disaster and would stall on every hill. I swapped my 2bbl for a 4bbl of a Mustang and it solved the problem. I took that Bronco through hell and back and it never stalled with the 4bbl. I'm pretty sure it was a autolite 4100.
