Hey I have a 89fp and its a great car. i am putting a set of really nice tires and rims that will help the performance. you can also add on other extras like the cam gears or small things like spark plugs and wire. rite back and tell me how u did. c-ya

Well

I already got plugs still need wires but. I was thinking about cam gears. The only problem with them is I don't quite understand what they are how they work and how much a diffrence they can make( I like to see some dyno's).  I was look on the web adn was thinking about going with a unorthadox raving pully ( If they make it for 96 2.0). ????

if i was you i would get the j-spec cam!! because the ud pulley wont work on your 96, because they have some computer or somthing...i read it some where, some dude got one for his 96 and his car wouldnt run. but i have one on my 93 and i am happy with it, it was a good mod for 150. the gears would be good but, i think for $400 you could do alot better in the mod department, headers or nos. but i think if i could see a good 12hp to the wheels, i would buy the gears. i would like to see dyno charts for the cam and the gears, and also my pulley. i think i gat about 5hp from that.

The tip alone won't add too much tone to it, maybe a borla tip w/ a resonator... but, i wanna reccomend the Borla Boomers... stainless steel w/ a great tip... and awesome sound.. but that's my penny... Glen95PGT

what the other guy is saying is true, a tip wont do much at all. i have an 4 inch exhuast tip (not used) that i am willing to sell. Retail is $60 but i'll sell it for 30 only cuz i got a deal on it and i dont really need it anymore. but if u want to improve the tone, ur gonna wanna change your muffler or u can do what i did and just take your muffler off! It sounds really sweet and really really loud. just an idea.

a new exhaust is the only way to go not many tips are gonna increase your sound after it is muffled that is unless you get a megaphone and rig it up. kevin
