I was wondering if someone could tell me a general price for some
decent wheels for my 95 ford aspire.
Thanks very much for your time.

one thing you can do is check out cooper tires web site. if you go to the GTZ tires, there is a chart that gives the tire sizes of all the popular sizes for your bird. measure the overall diameter of your tires then find a very close size in the 16 or 17. I have a '97 cougar with factory 225 60 R16's, I plan on going to a 225 55 ZR16 in front and 245 50 ZR16 in rear. they are very close in diameter to the 225 60 16. hope that helps, Jack

Well, the easiest thing is to find out what the total outside diameter of your current tire is, and make sure that whatever you get to replace them is as close as possible to the same. If it's too different your speedo will be off and that's quite expensive to re-calibrate.

No, Mustang Bolt pattern is 5-4.25, and thunderbird pattern is 5-4.08. The new T-Bird wheels will fit, Windstar, Taurus, Sable, Lincon LS and some Volvos have this pattern also.

honestly putting rims on a ranger and not lowering it is not advisable unless you are getting some huge meaty tires to fill the wheel well because fender gap on rangers is disgusting but thats my personal opinion and i drive a slammed ranger so.... uh showus36801

Hey Evan. If your looking for a set of tires I would go with a set of Toyo FZ4 proxes. Their not too expensive, but well worth it. I have a set of these on my probe and I'm very pleased with them. Chris '96 PSE some mods

225/50/16 is what came on mine. Yes you can get an aftermarket steering wheel. I'm not sure what you gotta do but I know its been done. I like my airbag, Just In Case! :) Scott 93SE

Probe wheels and tires are the same as the talon/eclipse/laser wheels and tires for sizes and lug offsets, the stock 16" tire for a t/e/l is 205/55/16, this is an uncommon size at like junk yards but most tire places should have it. 2,000,000,000 Web Pages--you only need 1. For used wheels try; http://ackerwheels.net/ I bought wheels for a different vehicle from Acker in 1999 and was quite pleased with the experience.

I could stand to be corrected, but it is not only the tires you would have to change but also the wheels. Has your Escape been built yet?

Gary

It was built last week. Well know I would need a new set of rims too, when I get a set of 16" tires. I am pretty sure it can happen.

I know, the customs payment scares me. I'm still looking to see if I can find any local. I have three months to look anyways. Thanks Gary
