The base, SE, and GT all have the same 5 lug bolt pattern.  The stock GT rim is 16x7.2 , the stock GT wheel is 225/50-16 which is larger than your 205/50-16 tires (do they really make that size?) so your tires should fit the rim and mount on your 95 base with no problems.        -Lino Sacman, SCPOC       '93 Rio-Red, PSE, 5-spd

that other guy gave you an answer but he might be wrong...or maybe I could be (I highly doubt that though) or maybe it all depends on what rims you get. If you want an honest answer you should go to a tire place or ask the place/person you got the rims from. Hope I could help.

Both JustAndrew and FordProbeman gave you 2 tire sizes and BOTH WILL FIT on a 16-inch rim for your base Probe. FordProbeman gave you 225/50/16 which is the stock size tire for Probe GT's.  I use this size tire on some GT 16-inch wheels on my Probe SE so I know it works.  The only problem is that it is slightly larger in overall tire diameter than the stock base/se tires and therefore you have a small error on your speedometer and odometer readings. That tire size is almost exactly 1-inch larger than the stock base/se tires so you would actually be travelling faster and farther than your speedometer and odometer actually read.   Now I haven't done the math yet on this yet so I can't verify it  but I believe the size that JustAndrew gave you (215/45/16) retains the same overall tire diameter as the stock base/se tires.  If this is  indeed  true then using this tire on your base Probe will give you the correct speed and distance traveled that your speedometer and odometer actually display.   Hope this helps        -Lino Sacman, SCPOC      '93 Rio-Red PSE, 5-spd
