my family's big on chevy and i was almost disowned when i got my 5 spd '94 T-bird SC. my uncle's got a 96 chevy camaro z28 6spd. can kick his ass in a race or what. i'm thinkin it would be a good battle, but i'm not sure and he doesn't wanna race. let me know

Assuming both cars are stock, you would lose. Sorry. But remember, speed is the ONLY advantage the camaro has over your SC.<br><br>Kenny

Those numbers are accurate, but when the race is over and I'm all pissed off, I hurl my 3700 pound TBird into the back of that POS Camaro, guess who will win? Me, I'm a sore loser.

that has to be the reason the POS camaro is faster right...cause of the weight difference? i mean the supercharger has to count for something...

The weight difference is part of it, but mostly it's the horsepower difference. The Camaro has 305 horsepower I believe, while the SC has 230. The supercharger definitely counts for something though...about 90 horsepower. The N/A 3.8 T-bird made about 140 horsepower.<br><br>Kenny
