Starting to think I've found my way into the "Ford Focus ZX3 Whiners and Complainers" group. I have yet to read about anyone being pleased with the handling or the extra performance to be had for only a few hundred bucks. I hear a lot of owners on here but not many "entusiasts".

I personally have no complaints about my ZX3...I love it a lot...It doesn't ride like a tin can and it sure beats that corrolla I test drove. All cars have their problems...I just wish I could really fix mine up...but Alas..I'm in college and even scraping up $$ for an exhaust is too much. I have a list...It'll get finished..one day. Don't worry. There are still "entusiasts" here!!!

You must of missed my post. I've got 22,000 miles and just purchased a second set of tires. Wore the first ones out. I love this car for exactly what it is...Lots of bang for the buck. If one knows how to really drive a car fast then the ZX3 is a pleasure, especially considering the initial low cost. Unfortunately it has its drawbacks, the biggest of course is little things have went wrong with the car. The purpose of this club is to share information and to that end it does well. I'm a huge enthusiast and this little car rocks!!

whew!! You guys had me worried for a sec. I was starting to wonder if we needed to organize a group buy on Prozac. If anyone is looking for an exhaust that is not that $$ but ohhh so badass, check out a "supertrapp". You can tune them for high end hp or low end torque depending on your taste. I picked one up and had it installed using 2? pipe from the cat back for about $300. Its like driving a different car. The other added bonus is the comments like "What in the hell kinda muffler is that?" from most people who hear it and see it.

I, too, love my ZX3. I love driving it and get a lot of compliments not only on the way it looks, but also the way it drives and rides. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. It's hard to find a car like it for such a great price.

I too love my ZX3. I've had a few problems with it along the way, but nothing major yet. I love the car and will probably get another when I drive the wheels off this one!!!!

Life is but a dream... ^_^

which exhaust from supertrapp did you get. It looks as though they only make exhausts for motorcycles and ATVs.

Go to www.racerpartswholesale.com. I went with the 18" x 4". With 6 plates on it sounds very much like the rally car. More than 6 is just way to loud for my taste but high end power is increased the more plates you add.
