I am interested in purchasing P265/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler RT/S Tires mounted on 4-Ford OEM Sawblade Style 17x7.5 rims. These were removed from a 2001 Ford Supercrew 4x4 and have about 20,000 miles on them. This is an all-terrain tire. Will this tire and wheel combo fit on my 99 Ford Explorer XLT?

Don't know 100% - but I would be surprised. "Standard" calls for 225/70R15, but there's a couple "optional" sizes listed by Goodyear: 235/75R15 which is what I have on my 99, and 255/70R16 The 265s are a bit wider, but I'd be more worried about the 17" rim. It'll throw your speedometer/odometer off some, but more of a concern is whether they'd fit in the wheelwells. Sounds like a stretch. The Wrangler RT/S's are good tires. That's what I had on mine until just recently. I almost put them on again, but switched at the last moment. >
