i have a 91 nite 351 bronco i have been building fords all my life and have the haynes manual for this one. both my widow motors are bad ( or the gears) i have heard you need to drill a few holes in the door ( inside ) to get to some elusive bolts to remove the motor assembly. There are 3 rivets showing on mine i just dont feel like doing any unneccesary work or drilling to fix them. the manual doesnt say squat about removal so if any one had any good insight on this let me know Thanks

A friend of mine has a 91 bronco. His problem was the rear window was broken and wouldn't go up. When i notived how he fixed it I asked him what he had to do. He said he just kicked it a couple of times and it worked! Maybe, give that a try. Seems funny, but hey it worked for my buddy.
~Muddy

that is too funny..lol
I have an 87 xlt and one day the rear window went down and never went back up..
we took the whole tail gate apart cleaned and lubricated everything and it now works but there is a bracket that is on the bottom of the window that is broken..so someday soon it will happen again..
( and you will not find nothing helpful in hayes)
good luck!

I used to have intermintent problems with my 78s rear window also. Looking at it, I found it to be a slight adjustment problem with the tailgate switch - that and one of my wheels inside the track was missing too, so that'd jump out of the track every once in awhile

Not sure if any of this will apply to you guys, but I thought I'd offer up a couple ideas

david
