Hey I have a problem with my windows ... well .. I'm dammed ... either I open them all the way down or roll em up ... because if I put the damn window halfway, the damn thing starts vibrating and I can't do anything about it .. need help? Btw .. paint is screwed up on my rear wing.. need addy for recall website :) 95 Probe Base [only power things are antenna [semi working :)] and the mirriors ..] Mods- Lanechanger mirrior addon .. Ohh yeah :) ..

ok. not sure if this will fix it but it may. The lube on the window track often dries out. It did on mine. Get some white lithium grease, it comes in a can like WD40. Take off the door panel inside and then peel back the clear plastic. There are 2 metal tracks which have rubber stops in them. Spray the tracks till theyre lubed at the point about where it stops. Try to keep it off the window cause its not too fun to clean off. Hope this helps.

Makes sense. I will pull the mechanism out of the door anyway as I need to strip the metal for paint. It has been painted a number of times before, all without surface prep, and to get back to the pseudo-grain stamped into the metal, I need to use chemical stripper. I'd rather have the whole door empty for that. :-) Your note gives me encouragement. I didn't want to invest in refinishing the door only to reinstall damaged regulator components.
