I'm thinking about getting the back 3 windows tinted on my ZX3 (dark as I can get it) and I'm wondering how much I can expect to pay.

If you do it your self and buy the tint $15 to $40 depending on how good of a tint you get. Some tint is a plastic film and some is a composite which will hold up better and will block more UV light. If you have a pro do it it will cost you about $100 to $180. I had a four door neon at one point and had a pro do it with composite on five windows for $135. Also if you do it your self it will take some time also be careful for air bubbles. Just to let you know if you live in PA you may get a fine. I got a $94 fine for my neon after 6 months.

I think I'm going to have a pro do it, because my friend did it himself on his Accord and its covered with bubbles now. I'de rather just pay a little more to get a good job done. I'm not getting the front two windows tinted because it's illeagle here in CA and I don't have enough money to pay for a fine. Thanks for the price info.

Don't think about it, just DO it! The car will look so much better, and it will keep it cooler, and protect the interior. As for price, you'll get what you pay for. Go for an established installer, and expect to pay up to $100 for just the three windows........But remember...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

Thanks guys, I made an appointment on Thursday to take my car in at a local shop for tinting. I'm getting it for $160, but its regularly $180 (my friend knows the owner). He does good work and if anything goes wrong, I can just take it back they'll fix it for free. I'm getting it almost limo black on the back three and leaving the side windows alone, for now. I want to see how it looks first and then I'll probably get the side ones done later when I have some more money. Thanks for your help!
