Ok, smart me... I bought a set of Window Visors for my 99' Explorer Sport. Put them on eased the windows up, left them up for 24 hours...going through a drive through on the way to work this morning I rolled my DS window down and then back up, and crap!!! cracked the visor...(it was suppost to sit far enough back that wouldn't happen...but did. Any brillant idea on how to get that visor off now... I'm taking it back to the auto parts store and demanding they order new ones. I'm not pleased.

Yea I bought a set for my 98 xlt a couple years ago. The problem with mine was that the windows wouldn't seal tightly, so you'd always have that sound of rushing wind you get with a window cracked. There's only one way to get them out that I'm aware of if they're the type that has the adhesive tape up inside the gasket - rip it out! :) Sounds extreme, I know, but there are few other ways to get 3M adhesive to give. The only thing you have to watch out for is having the gasket itself coming away from the door frame. Just hold it down with one hand while you tug little by little on the visor. Even if the gasket does come loose, just push it firmly back into the door frame and you'll never notice a difference. After a year and a half the one that got loose on me still hasnt leaked or lost any of its seal with the glass. Sorry if this seems kind of hap-hazzard, but it worked for me so I thought I'd toss it out. Good luck! -Dustin
