Hey all. I'm getting my windows tinted pretty soon and I wanted to take those dots off the rear windows so it doesnt look crappy. Does anyone know what they are for? Thanx.

Are you talking about the dots at the very edge of the windows? I don't know what they are for but I do have my windows tinted. 35 in front and 15 for the rest. Didn't do anything with the dots and it looks great. You can look at my profile. It has a picture of my car with the tint.

i do not have them dots your talkin about<br> but i do have tinted windows and the ZX3 <br> LOGO on the 2 back side windows of the car<br> i though i would give ya some ideas for your<br> windows

Those dots are used for Quality Control cosmetics. It hides little flaws in the glass so they don't have make the entire surface "perfect". However, if you spend quality money on a quality tint and installation, it should cure properly in a few weeks
