i've got an old f150 with the high output 351 and i need to know what all i gotta do to put the bad boy in my bird. the guy thats helping me says it'll fit my tranny but he doesn't know if i can just reprogram the computer in the tranny or if its gotta be changed. i'm on an exremely tight budget and right now i cant afford the computer. your help would be awesome and so would the 315 hp it'll give me. thats without any mods to that engine, so imagine what it could do once i can afford to take it further. any suggestions would be great and i appreciate ya'll. nathan

i could tell u pretty much exaclty what to do as i am doing the same thing...first....you are going to need a new hood....or a hood scoop as the 351 will NOT fit under the hood of a stock hood....and yes you will need a new computer...and some changing of the motor mounts and a new radiator. thatz all i can think of right now....if i think of anything else i will let u know.
