Hi. We love our new Escape and to preserve the beautiful 17" chrome wheels we want to get a complete set of steel rims for winter driving. We will also be purchasing a set of the new 'Ice' tires that are very popular now in Western Canada as our winters are long, usually cold and unpredictable. I want to get a set of steel rims from my local auto-wrecker and am wondering what options I have. Do I look at truck rims? ie: F150? I have been told that rims from Chrysler Intrepids are interchangable? Any feedback is much appreciated.
