the zx3's have a fixed time for the delay which
really stinks! but the stationwagon came with
variable timeing for the delay so all you half
to do is go to your dealer and get the wagon
wiper control arm part# ys4z17a553da and switch
it with your stock one. the wagon arm has the
variable switch in the arm it's self!

I would really be interested in that. Tell us how much it cost, and how difficult it was to install, (if you plan on installing it yourself).

I had the new stalk put in last year. It was the only replacement they had after I broke the original. It cost me around $100 including parts and labor. If you guys are dying to know the cost I can grab the repair sheet and post the part cost etc.

list price is $39.80 I paid 35 and change the install is easy pop the top cover off on the column. after you get it offyou will see a small
clip or tab that you press and the whole piece will pop right up it's spring loaded. lift slowly
and unplug the assembly. plug in the new one and
press down till it locks in and replace the cover
and your done!! that's it took me bout 10 min.

I was just looking at the wiring diagrams. For the intermittent wipers, it shows an additional connection between the timer module and the central box. Is that connections still there if you don't have intermittent wipers?
