I have a '76 bronco that needs to be rewired in the engine compartment. does any one know where I can get a wiring diagram so I can do this. Its got to be simple with pictures ect. Also if the headlights are on and I put the car in park the engine stalls,whats up with that?<br>thanks<br>poppabill48@...

There's a wiring diagram in the Haynes maual for the Bronco. It's not that easy to follow.

There are several wiring diagrams on the web that might help you out. Check your alternator belt to be sure it's tight and check all the wiring connections to the alt and battery. Also check to see that you have a good ground from the engine to the body. If all that checks out then take it to your local parts store and have them test the charging system. Most do it for free, although their results are sometimes suspect.
