I assume the workshop manual doesn't go into radio information. On one of these clubs someone told how to get the dual media stereo to do all these diagnostics and what each code meant merely by pressing two different buttons at the same time on the radio.

Very easy. Helm Inc. is a publisher of Shop manuals for many car manufacturers, including Ford. You can purchase/order manuals from your Ford dealer, or you can order them through the Web directly from Helm at: www.helminc.com

The Escape Shop manual comes in 2 Volumes. I think the price was $142 (USD) but check the web site to be sure.

Mario

I got the Helm truck repair CD-ROM for about $30 from some buy on ebay. It was not a Cd-R. It had wiring diagram book, repair manual book, and the computer diagnostic book for all 2002 Ford personal trucks (ranger, escape, explorer, expeditions, f150, f250, windstar, excursion, etc). I was pretty happy because these sell new for about $1400. I also bought the same thing for all ford car/trucks 1992-2001 on ebay (this was cd-r) for about $45. I had the Helm 1995 Mustang workshop manual and wiring/vacuum book and it was exactly the same thing. I was pretty happy.
