Spool you know your absolutly right any joe blow can go and buy a honda just because there is a huge market for them out there it's the kind of thing that a kid in highschool would buy because there cheap to afford easy on insurance and gas but if you try to find a decent probe to drive it sort of has that home grown nastalgia to it it is some ways like a foreign car manly because it was modeled in the late 80's for gas efficiancy and became a increasingly popular car with the teens and 20's in the early 90's but the production line was cut to make vast improvements on the mustang even though it was a populat selling car. Being the probe owner that I am I don't fall into that catagory like 85% of the teenage population who want quick speed out of a foreign car it's kind of nice to say that I own one of the original performance enhancable street racers, and I don't have to say I am running one of the ever so common honda's or the toyota's I love to live here in the US and it's even better to drive a car that came from here. I'ce always been a fan of the sports car, I started in on muscle cars from the 60's that I restored with my grandpa, he told me that the only way he could go in the automobile line was american made, it was the ever so fantasized over 67 shelby mustang midnight black with a 4 speed 427 and all the extra's before he died he asked me to look after his car for him just 4 days before he passed and on the second day we were in a discussion about cars like we always were and he said I left some money for you to do with what you please, "for gods sake don't waste it on a car that you can't love and above all else don't waste it on a women" hahaha made me chuckle so the day after he died I went out a purchased the love of my life in cars, a 1994 probe se. I don't know if he would have liked it but I was in love with the cars ever since they first came out with that ugly squarish body style. The point I'm trying to make is the only thing you can do with your hard earned money, if your a car guy is find something you enjoy working on if it's something you have to take to the shop to have fixed then why even bother, the best times I've had with my car and my freinds is when your in the garage working on it yourself. That is the only way a car fanatic can find the nich in life that can get you to were you want to go. I know I'm just rambiling but when you can't sleep and all you do is sit up and think about the things that make you the happiest and the times that have gone by then you really need to make that mental check and see if what your doing is really worth it. Any ways that's enough of me rambiling thanks for reading Blake >

I have a bit of bad news for all of my fellow Probers,
Due to the fact that I have been unemployed and unable to gain sufficient funds, I may be losing my Probe.  I don't believe that I will get another one, I may be getting a talon tsi or somthin of the sort.  This dosen't mean I'm no longer into Probes or anything, but to be honest I need somthing thats faster.  I still plan on being a member of these boards and giving any advice I can and I may even buy a Pgt later on down the road, but for right now I believe a factory turbocharged car is the way I want to go, and I also could use the awd for the roads around here in winter.  Please dont be mad or anything...lol. I still LOVE the way 2g probes handle and look and feel when you drive them, etc.  But  seriously can't afford mine the way things are set-up with payments and such right now.  Please understand.
Jeremy....still love my baby-probe... :-)

Of course I'll still be here...i didnt intend on leaving any of my probe groups or anything.  I still got alotta respect for probes and all that...I'm just really into turbocharged cars plus i can no longer afford to finance my car this way so im pretty sure im going to let them re-po it, get myself back on my feet, save up and get a talon tsi awd or somthin of the sort.  I'll give you advice whenever its asked for as long as i can supply an answer I'll be more than happy to share it.  Good luck and keep "probing!"....
