“The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellows Program is a program that provides students with the tools to become responsible young adults and young leaders–leaders that are convicted to change this world for the better. From meeting current leaders and public speakers to preparing for Advance Placement classes, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellows Program has given me opportunities to see new opinions and has supported my path as a future leader in this twenty-first-century world. Taking a bipartisan view, valuing unity over dividing opinions, and being open-minded towards all people are principles that have been nourished while I have been a Fellow.”
